William MOULD

William was born in Stoke-on-Trent about 1730. He married Rachell Leigh in Stoke in 1753. They had one child before Rachell died aged 30 in 1758.

Benjamin MOULD (1755-1836)

Benjamin was the only known child of William and Rachell. He was born in Burslem in 1755, but spent most of his life in Baddeley Edge near Norton-in-the-Moors. He married Hannah Cartledge in Stoke in 1776. They had ten children in Baddeley Edge where Hannah died in 1833 and Benjamin in 1836

Ellin MOULD (1803-1842)

Ellin was born in Baddeley Edge in 1803. She married Matthew Boulton, a labourer from Norton-in-the-Moors in Stoke in 1821. Thed had ten children before her death in 1842 at the age of 39.

Of Ellin's siblings, Alice (b. 1780) had one son out of wedlock in 1804 before marrying Samuel Bailey, a labourer from Biddulph, in 1809. They went on to have six children; Rebecca (b. 1793) married Ralph Walker in Norton-in-the-Moors in 1818 and had six children. Ralph and Rebecca died in Shelton in 1846 and 1860 respectively; Joseph (b. 1796) worked as a shoemaker in Baddeley Edge. No record has been found of his marriage to Hannah, but they had six children. Joseph and Hannah died in 1860 and 1873 respectively.
